TYPE OF Membership
The founding members and all those who join the Association who are subject to the following conditions:
Active member
- Be a citizen of United Arab Emirates.
- Be no younger than eighteen years old of the Gregorian calendar.
- Have a good character and reputation.
- Have no convictions for any offence involving breach of honor or trust unless he/she has been rehabilitated.
- Students studying in veterinary universities inside or outside the country.
- Veterinarians who hold a bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine and animal surgery or an equivalent from a State university or a university recognized by the State.
- Obtaining higher degrees and working in the field of veterinary medicine or animal resources for a period not less than 5 years and more.
- Veterinarians who work in the field of veterinary, one of its associated professions, and obtain a veterinary diploma from a State university or a university recognized by the State; and worked in the veterinary field for a period not less than two years.
- Undertaking in writing to respect the laws and regulations effective in the state, the Association’s system and the rules of professional ethics.
- Fulfilling all financial obligations resulting from his/her membership in the Association
Associate Membership
- The member who is subject to the conditions of active membership except for the condition of the nationality of the United Arab Emirates
Honorary Membership
The decision of the Board of Directors to grant this membership to those who are of good standing and opinion and who delivered valuable services to the State or Association or those who have a distinguished activity in the field of public services and volunteerism
